She brings 20+ years’ experience leading learning and development, coaching, and upskilling leaders and teams across various industries, including Edtech, media/entertainment, consulting, food & beverage, and luxury goods.
Mariana holds an MA in Adult Learning and is certified in over ten methodologies, including Leadership Potential Assessment (Korn Ferry) and Strength Deployment Inventory (Core Strengths). She’s used these methodologies continuously throughout her career to help leaders affect change in start-ups and global organizations. Since 2019, Mariana has applied her skills as a Certified Professional Diversity Coach, demonstrating multifaceted abilities to motivate change and establish a culture of belonging in corporate environments.
Mariana actively led and championed DEI initiatives for Sony Music Entertainment, where she served as Vice President of SOMOS (ERG for Latinx employees). She designed, developed, and facilitated workshops on various DEI topics and partnered closely with the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion to create org-wide education opportunities for all employees. At Amplify, she steered their fledgling ERGs by coaching ERG leads and leveraging her network of top-tier DEI professionals to enhance ERG programming for the company. She coaches first-generation professionals navigating complex career environments through her boutique coaching practice.
